During each draw, a special guest known as the “Draw Chairman” inspects the equipment and number of balls to initialize each machine. Guests then select the winning numbers from a pool of 10 balls corresponding to the first prize. The winner must match all six digits of the winning number to claim the prize. The previous system used to include a bonus prize for matching the first three digits, but this was eliminated by GLO after 1 August 2015.

The lottery is available to all Thai citizens over 20 years of age, and tickets are sold in ticket pairs. However, foreigners cannot purchase tickets from outside the country.
